Word 2003 XML Conversion

• Converts a Word 2003 XML file into a (xhtml like) format that is much easier to process.
• Steps for using this conversion:
  • Create a Word document with Word 2003
  • Save this document as XML (this is an option in the "Save as..." dialog)
  • Upload the resulting XML file into this convertor and have a look at the result
  • If you want to test the conversion without having to create a document first, you can find a test Word 2003 XML document here.
  • The output is a XML document suitable for further processing (e.g. convert into html or your own format)
  • I have made several choices about what was important information and what to discard. If this doesn't suit your needs, please contact me.
  • The input Word 2003 XML must be smaller than 500 Kb.
  • The resulting XML must be smaller than 300 Kb.
